Women and Lifting Weights (Part I)

It is now nearing the end of the year 2012, so it does come to me as a surprise that women to this day are still worried about lifting weights. Most are afraid that by doing so, they will start looking like She Hulk or worse?

I am afraid to burst this myth bubble but only men produce more testosterone and growth hormones, which play a major part in increasing muscle mass and strength. Women on the other hand, produce estrogen which plays a role in storing fat to a certain degree and can be said to have little amounts of testosterone compared to their male counterparts, although I must say that there are a rare few that are more inclined to muscularity than others.

So now you know the hormonal differences.
