Boring Workouts?

Recently, I have been receiving enquiries from readers about keeping workouts fresh so they will not lose interest in the process. This is a problem that many people face. Why does working out feel so mundane after a period of time?

Answer: It's all in your mind.

Here are some tips I always share with clients, family, and friends.

1. Working out is not a chore. YOU do it because YOU choose to.

2. Always bear in mind that working out will help you maintain a strong and healthy body that will make daily activities like climbing up stairs easier. So why the heck not?

3. Never use the same routine for more than 6 months. If possible, get better results by changing it up every 4-6 weeks.

4. Maximize every second you have in the gym. That means NO phones, NO chatting, NO reading even if you are working out on the stationary bike.

5. If you've already hired a personal trainer, good for you. Go according to the workout designated for you. It is personalized for a reason.

When I work out, I incorporate various sequences in my routines.

For example, my latest Super Hero Week!

Hang in there guys!
