Why is proper posture important?

Proper posture aids an individual to perform day to day movements with minimal strain to their joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles.
Poor posture overtime can lead to disc problems and other injuries.
Now that we know what poor postures leads to, is that what you want to go through?
What are the possible causes that may lead to poor posture?
